Who are you voting for in November?

'Bama/Biden. The Supreme Court needs a shift, and McCain/Palin seem to prefer justices like Scalia.

2. Who did you vote for in 2004 and 2000?
2000: Couldn't vote in in Connecticut as I was on probation :(

2004: The Conn. Legislature restored probationers' rights to vote, so I went Democrat. :D

2006: Moved to Jersey, couldn't vote as probationers' in Jersey can't vote. Lose your rights just by crossing a state line :(

2008: Just finished up my probation and can finally vote in N.J. :D

3. Is this the most important election in your lifetime?

So far, yes...

4. What will you miss about the Bush administration?

The possibility that we came very close to becoming a one branch form of government with no checks and balances... Oh wait, I'm glad to see that common sense prevailed.

5. Leaving George W. Bush out of consideration, what former U.S. president would you most like to have waterboarded?

I wouldn't condone torture in any case. Some people have common decency and a moral compass. There are some lines you just don't cross. I deeply respect McCain, despite what other reservations I may have against him, for his stance prohibiting torture.

Re: Gideon endorses: The election meme | a public defender

1. Who are you voting for in November?

Undecided, but definitely not Obama. NOBAMA!
Across the board dems for everything else.

2. Who did you vote for in 2004 and 2000?

Dull and Duller

3. Is this the most important election in your lifetime?

No.

4. What will you miss about the Bush administration?

The government wirelessly wire tapping my phones. That's the best.

5. Leaving George W. Bush out of consideration, what former U.S. president would you most like to have waterboarded?

George Bush Sr. But only if I can go back in time and do it on the exact day that GW was conceived. That would be my gift to mankind.

Re: Gideon endorses: The election meme | a public defender

1. Who are you voting for in November?

McCain because Obama will win anyway and this way in 2012 when things are closer people can't call me an Obamabot.

2. Who did you vote for in 2004 and 2000?

Al Gore and JFK

3. Is this the most important election in your lifetime?

No, 2000 was the most important election of my lifetime.

4. What will you miss about the Bush administration?

Guantanamo. I feel safer knowing that terrorists are locked up without trial in a Communist nation.

5. Leaving George W. Bush out of consideration, what former U.S. president would you most like to have waterboarded?

Jefferson.

Re: Gideon endorses: The election meme | a public defender

1. Who are you voting for in November?

All Democrats. Dennis Kucinich for president.

2. Who did you vote for in 2004 and 2000?

Dems. (Surprise!)

3. Is this the most important election in your lifetime?

No.

4. What will you miss about the Bush administration?

The Daily Show. Jon Stewart has proven himself much less funny when trying to poke fun at his beloved Barack Obama. I suppose Joe Biden might keep things interesting.

5. Leaving George W. Bush out of consideration, what former U.S. president would you most like to have waterboarded?

I am anti-waterboarding. Even for W.
